Can you right click on the application and choose 'run as administrator'? It's worked for me in Vista on a couple of occasions ...

Stan,

If you ever go more than a week or two without getting an answer to sold your issue you should email Online Bible directly. Go to www.onlinebible.net and click on Contact and email them.

1.) Briefly explain the issue.

2.) Briefly explain what you have done attempting to resolve the issue.

3.) Give Online Bible about a week to respond.

Since a month I use Vista 64 with a new desktop PC and had no problems except with PPC. This now is solved with SP2 of Vista. If you not yet have installed SP2 please do so and try a reinstallation of OLB with the latest version. May be you deinstall first OLB to get a clean system.

Very often after attempting to install a program there will be a message that pops up asking if the program installed correctly or not. when this comes up try clicking on install the program using the recommended settings and see what that does. That's how I usually get things to work on Vista that are not supposed to.

Here is a very simple question, what Version of Online Bible have you tried to install, what version of Vista do you have, and how much ram is installed on the computer?

Also are you doing a disk Cleanup and turning off all Anti-virus, anti-malware and anti-spyware before installing. May of these programs today will prevent the proper installation a a lot of software.

If you are downloading the software, do this first, then after running disk Cleanup, restart your computer, take it off line and then turn off all Anti-virus, anti-malware and anti-spyware. Then double click on the installation icon.

Also, before doing all for this go to add/remove programs and delete Online Bible, then delete the Bible folder in My Documents and then delete the Bible folder in Program files.

Please let me know if this helped.

In Christ,

Mike Holliday
