I purchased the esv module and noticed that it is the 2001 edition. Is there a module available for the 2007 edition?

Tim,

I do not think that any Bible software company has the 2007 ESV, but I could be wrong. These is a very simple reason, it was considered a very minor revision.

If you consider all of the time involved in making the module, including proof-reading and securing pemission to publish the new version and essentially flushing the prior work, I do not kow why Online Bible or anyother software company would want to do this.

There are so many great works that have not been published the first time as of yet, I would hope that they are focusing on these.

I have been involved with Online Bible as a user and as offering support, and I do not speak for Online Bible, but I do have an idea generally as to where priorities are at this time. Right now I am probably of the 40th per Beta for Version the Unicode version and it hopefully will be completed soon. THen comes updating the modules that must be updated to be searchable with the Unicode version, especially the Greek and Hebrew, and adding the breath, vowel marks etc. Then I know that completing the Hebrew Interlinear is a priority.

You must remember that this is not a big money making enterprise. THe main heart behind Online Bible is to get the Word of God into everyones hands.

In Christ,
