Online Bible Update available - version 2.90 - A new step forward

The beta project, which started 5 weeks ago, is now completed. The result is a brand new version 2.90 with an improved users-interface.

Changes:

• Hyperlinks work with single clicks in windows and floating windows only. List boxes, tree views &c still use single and double clicks to indicate different functions. (2.20.11)
• Search box layout changed. (2.20.11)
• Smaller font used in dictionary window when multiple entries come up for an item. (2.20.11)
• Very simple text editor created to create and edit basic notes. Just type in text and it saves if for that note. If you know the Online Bible markups and hyperlink format you can use it. For serious development of material the original editor should be used. To select it, go to the Tools/Customise Settings menu and deselect the Basic Editor. (2.20.11)
• Pocket PC memory management alter to better recover from out of memory situations. (2.20.11)
• English Help file updated to reflect all changes up to 2.20.10. (2.20.11)
• Different icons added to child windows to help tell them apart (version 2.20.10)
• Hint added to Floating window (version 2.20.10)
• Editor icon added to child window toolbar (version 2.20.10)
• Resource window refreshed every time the resource selection changes in the program (version 2.20.10)
• "Meditation Aid" and "GoTo Bookmark" removed from right mouse button popup (version 2.20.09)
• Added Audio Icon to windows tool bar if the Audio Bible is installed (version 2.20.08)
• "+" and "-" icons added to child window toolbar to expand/shrink the fonts in that window. (version 2.20.07) The font value for this windows is overridden when you adjust the font from the main tool bar of the Customize menu.
• Resource window expanded to cover function previously handled by the F9 key.
• Passage and note window remember where you positioned them on the screen when you open them again.
• Alternate versions renamed to parallel versions throughout.
• Colouring added to default window setup (version 2.20.06)
• Window resouces menu shown on the left list all the available books. (version 2.20.05)
• Windows tiled so Bible windows on on the upper part of the screen and notes and books on the bottom. New windows retile existing windows of a similar type. (version 2.20.05)
• Tool bar added to each window for most common popup menu functions. (version 2.20.05) More icons added in version (2.20.06).This will be refined in future beta's.
